Board Rules
Should a player not wish to comply with any of these rules, they will be asked to leave immediately. If you have any questions at all; please Contact Admin or Staff! If there is anything you’re confused about, please talk to us first.
Board Rules
- 1. Admin and Staff have the right to change, alter, or add to this list of rules at any time. With all new sites, things change and evolve, that includes the rules.
- 2. The board is a medieval/historical based, play by post RPG. That means that a character should speak and behave according to historical norms. Some areas may be more open to interpretation but should be discussed with staff upon character creation.
- 3. Please be nice. If there is something that needs to be settled OOC then get a member of the staff to help moderate a conversation. Any arguing needs to be kept OOC and off the board as well, keep all arguments out of your posts.
- 4. All players must remain active. “Active” is defined as signing in or posting at least 3 times a week (unless a player has stated before hand that they are unable to stay active due to RL issues).
“Inactive” is defined as no posting or log on for a period of 30 days (without having given a reason to staff first). If a player is deemed “inactive” their character will be sent to the "NCP” board where it is first come first serve (depending on the character). If a player returns after a period of being inactive and wishes their character back, they will only be able to get it back if some one has not claimed it. - 5. For each character that is created, a player must create a separate account. No exceptions. Players must also created a Player Account (PA) with their name or
- 6. There is no ‘cap’ on characters except for new players. All new players are allowed up to 4 characters (2 male & 2 Female); when a player has been on the board for 30 days with active posting, this player will have their restriction removed.
- 7. All new applications should be posted in the “Pending” sub board. When it is approved, staff will move it to the appropriate board. Should a the admin or a member of staff find a reason to which your application can not be approved, they will contact you via Instant Messaging to discuss what ever changes need to be made. You then have 7 days to modify it. If the application goes unchanged (without the player notifying staff that they will be unable to make the 7 day deadline), it will be deleted.
- 8. There’s only one rule for plots, plain and simple; if you want something ‘planned’ to happen to your character, then you need to post a plot; anyone can post a plot. If you have any questions about plots please ask. These will help keep staff aware of your characters actions and let them know if IC rule breaking is intentional, or if players should be repremanded.
- 9. Unlike other places we encourage you to connect your characters with other player's characters before your create new houses or families. Please speak with admin or staff first before creating a house with no kinship to any pre-existing houses.
- 9.(a) Players who control Sovereign characters will be considered the matriarch/patriarch of that family. Any characters subsequently created with the family name of the Sovereign, or any claim to kinship, must have approval from BOTH the player who controls the Sovereign and Admin/Staff before character is created.
- 9.(b) All characters created from a single house with no sovereign, must receive approval from the FIRST PLAYER to create a character from the family. Again, players must have approval from BOTH player and Admin/Staff before character is created.

Any characters subsequently created with the family name of the Sovereign, or any claim to kinship, must have approval from BOTH the player who controls the Sovereign and Admin/Staff before character is created.
- 10. The speed of the board with be 1 real day to 2 board days. This means that one month of real life will be equal to two months of board life. This can only be maintained with the help of players communicating with other players they have plots with. Should a player go absent for longer then 2 weeks, please contact staff to find a solution.
Should a player not wish to comply with any of these rules, they will be asked to leave immediately. If you have any questions at all; please Contact Admin or Staff! If there is anything you’re confused about, please talk to us first.
